Bob Lew

Swing dancing since: 1997

Bob started dancing in 1997 in the Washington DC area. He has been on the Fidgety Feet dance team since 2006. He is a former member of the award-winning Collegiate Cats Shag dance team and the Centuries Dance historic dance team. Bob studied dance with some of Lindy Hop's greatest icons, include Frankie Manning, Dawn Hampton, Jean Veloz, as well as Andy Reid, Skye Humphries, Naomi Uyama, and Nina Gilkenson. In 2020, he was invited to teach with Ellen Engle (Flying Feet) on a 1-week dance cruise, Floating with Friends, hosted by Alisha Alliance. Bob and his wife Debbie have won awards in the Swing Fling Lindy Division and have been judges at Gottaswing's Virginia State Open. Bob also teaches specialty classes with GottaSwing.com in the Virginia-DC area.
